Just what works… and what doesn’t.

A lot of the people we walk alongside are navigating the shift from rough sleeping or unstable conditions into housing. That shift is significant—but it’s not simple. Having a roof doesn’t automatically mean having the tools, rhythms, or support to sustain daily living.

So we focus on small, grounded projects that meet people where they are:

• Food that can be prepared with minimal equipment
• Shared meals that double as learning moments
• Practical setups that make sense in limited spaces
• Ideas that can be repeated, not just received
• Dealing with Housing organisations

Some of what you’ll read here will be wins.
Some will be honest misses.
Both matter.

Because if we’re serious about supporting people well, we have to pay attention to the details—the gap between what’s provided and what’s actually usable.
