Sing With Me
A simple way to connect: voice to voice
Sing With Me is one of the three main ways you can step into what I do.
Alongside Small Projects and Woodcraft Adventures, this is where connection happens through singing—simple, human, and shared.
It’s still experimental.
But it’s growing.
What this is
This isn’t about polished performance or getting it “right.”
It’s about using your voice as a way to be present—with yourself, with others, and sometimes with something deeper.
Sometimes it looks like:
- Singing together in small groups
- Joining in with one of the choirs I’m part of
- Singing alongside community moments—meals, gatherings, outreach
- Or just standing next to someone and finding a note together
There’s no single format yet. That’s part of the point.
Why singing?
Because singing does something that talking doesn’t.
It cuts through distance.
It creates belonging quickly.
It gives people a way in—especially if words are hard to find.
I’ve seen it:
- Build confidence in people who thought they couldn’t sing
- Create connection between people who wouldn’t normally meet
- Shift the atmosphere of a place in a matter of minutes
You don’t need training. You don’t need experience.
Just a willingness to join in.
Where it’s happening
Right now, Sing With Me shows up in a few different ways:
- Weekly choir spaces I’m part of
- Informal singing in community settings
- Occasional pop-up moments connected to Small Projects
- One-on-one or small group invitations
It’s not fully structured yet—but it is active.
Who it’s for
This is for you if:
- You like the idea of singing, even if you’re unsure
- You miss singing and want a way back into it
- You’re already singing and want to connect it with something meaningful
- You’re part of a group or space where singing could help bring people together
What might come next
Because this is growing, you might see:
- Open “come and sing” sessions
- Simple song circles tied to meals or gatherings
- Collaborations with community groups
- More defined pathways to join regularly
You can be part of shaping this just by turning up.
How to join in
Start simple.
- Come along when you’re invited
- Ask about current singing spaces
- Bring singing into something you’re already part of
Or just reach out and say:
“I’d like to sing.”
A note on the experiment
This isn’t a finished program.
It’s something being explored in real time.
That means:
- It might look different each time
- You don’t have to commit to a fixed structure
- Your presence actually helps shape what it becomes
And that’s part of why it works.
Three ways to connect
If you’re here, you’re choosing one of three paths:
- Sing With Me – connect through voice
- Small Projects – work on practical acts of care in the community
- Woodcraft Adventures – engage through making and creating
Each one is simple.
Each one is relational.
Each one starts small.
